We firmly believe in the ancient Latin adage, 'mens sana in corpore sano' - a sound mind in a sound body.  Mental and physical health are intrinsically connected, when one suffers so does the other. In our practice, we take a mind-body approach to mental health. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and support necessary to cultivate a strong mind and a strong body.

 

Our collective team of highly qualified therapists and coaches bring their education, training, dynamic skillset, and their strong sense of empathy and understanding to every session. As an outcome-focused practice, we go beyond traditional methods to make sure you are getting holistic care specific to meet your needs. We believe that by empowering you to become the best version of yourself, you will not only feel better but also show up better in your life and in your relationships (including your relationship with yourself!)

Our Process

We look at the whole you, not just one piece, not just one aspect. We comb through your history, your relationships, and any transformational events (negative or positive) that have influenced who you are, and how you show up in the world. 

 

We help you to identify your automatic negative self-talk, your harsh inner critic... you know it well, that voice in your head that makes you doubt yourself and keeps you feeling never good enough.  In partnership, we help you uncover and resolve past and present struggles that are emotionally, physically, and/or logistically getting in your way of feeling your best. We call upon our education and training in psychotherapy, life coaching, and holistic coaching to integrate your mind (top-down) and your body (top-up) into your treatment.  We help you get out of your head and invite you to connect to your body.

 

We support you in doing all of this because when you can downregulate your nervous system and soften into your body, huge cathartic releases happen. These releases are like the untying of a tight coarse tension knot, and it is from this new space that is created that you can flow into a more positive relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world. 

In order for therapy and coaching to be effective over the long term, your insights gained in treatment must be integrated and applied into your life outside of your sessions. This is why we include text messaging support as well as send you session summaries that outline your takeaways and list any tools/resources that may be helpful to you. As an added resource, we offer additional holistic coaching that may benefit you after your therapy or life coaching concludes. It takes time to change and heal, and to be frank, without support it can be really, really hard. Our added availability and guidance will help you to stay accountable and overcome any blind spots that get in the way of your growth. The key is doing small things consistently over time; it's these micro-adjustments that lead to the amazing evolution from who you were to who you are becoming.  

All of this translates into a cumulative positive shift in your choices, thoughts, and behaviors. We have borne witness to countless clients who slowly but surely upgrade their "operating systems" in a way that allows them to live a calmer, healthier, lighter, more joy-filled life.
